2 days ago was the anniversary of Desert Shield no mention by the media...2 days ago was the anniversary of desert shield. No mention on Facebook. The deployment was rapid and hectic the sadness of leaving life and family. The idea of Vietnam losses were forefront. The Republican Guard was touted as threatening and media predicting huge American losses in battle. Media imbeded with troops forced to be honest as they too were deployed and under fire. How every one of them has turned against America and our troops is despicable. They should have mentioned the deployment and anniversary. Wolfe Blitzer was shiting his pants under fire and being bombed... Your page also did not recognize the anniversary. For those of us under stress now with the PTSD remembering. Please acknowledge the fact that the media is intentionally not covering the event the Victory and the sacrifices of those who survived and the burden of the service members who sacrificed their lives for our freedom and their belief in America. Many who joined right after 9/11 believing in defending our country...
