General George Patton was buried in the American Cemetery and Memorial in Luxembourg, Germany on Christmas Eve, 1945, three days after he died in Heidelberg, Germany. With him lies the grave of the only woman buried there, an Army nurse, 2 Lt. Nancy Leo.
