Each year, we set aside a single day to remember those who gave their all so we can have a life of freedom.Each year, the names of our predecessors, friends, family, whose names are recorded in the hearts of those grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, grows.To some, this Day of Remembering is merely another day off work. But for those of us whose hearts are filled with the ache of those who have gone on before, Memorial Day has a much deeper meaning.In the words of General Dwight David Eisenhower: "Too many of these are now with God. We may never see their like again. We may never see their like again."For those who have fallen for my freedom...my grateful soul salutes you!
