Guns & Ammo.... and the 2nd Amendment.

President Trump is expected to name Judge Amy Coney Barrett as the new Supreme Court justice. I looked up her history, particularly how she views our Second Amendment. She seems to be a very accomplished woman but I wanted to see what her opinions on the second amendment were. I found this:
"In Kanter v. Barr, 919 F.3d 437 (7th Cir. 2019), Barrett dissented when the court upheld a law prohibiting convicted nonviolent felons from possessing firearms. The plaintiffs had been convicted of mail fraud. The majority upheld the felony dispossession statutes as "substantially related to an important government interest in preventing gun violence." In her dissent, Barrett argued that while the government has a legitimate interest in denying gun possession to felons convicted of violent crimes, there is no evidence that denying guns to nonviolent felons promotes this interest, and that the law violates the Second Amendment."
What do you think? Do you think it's OK for non-violent felons to possess firearms? Judge Barrett thinks so. I'm not sure.... I'll have to think about it.
I know one thing, Wikipedia sure did an obviously biased biography on her.... but I expected that when I looked up some information on her. So disgusting of Wiki.
