Yes, we MADE it ! Thursday was our five year anniversary. Yes, there'll be Sunday posts here, and occasionally, if my masochistic side emerges, an occasional post. The constant updates, lockouts, app failures, ad nauseum gets really, really old. Just for the perceived "privilege" of having to choose "acceptable" and "approved" language from the descendent of somebody who mated with a peacock. Being a Navy vet for most of the 70's, I don't appreciate a "social media daddy" anymore than I appreciated a "sea daddy" back then. Yes, I'll continue my daily posting over on Wimkin, and after being rehabilitated, my normal self will be coming back out. George Squirrel has his own page there, too. Now, instead of jumping zuckerhoops, he'll be posting more often. Thinking about another page over there called Tales from the rocking chair, or something like that. I'll be sharing them all on my personal page, James Groepler. Every page we have on jokebook is available over there, too. My wife's personal page was locked indefinitely after they converted The Cairo Curmudgeoness page to the "new experience" pages. Soon, she'll be deplatformed if she can't play the "remember what you said 90 days ago" game she's forced to play twice a day. Ridiculous. There is no more First Amendment here. You know it, but some are true sadists. Wimkin is available in Google play store for Android users, and Apple play store for iPhones. The web version is available, too. You don't have to sacrifice your precious jokebook to download the Wimkin app. Just to see future posts/comments on this page. I'll be checking in here and there on jokebook to keep things civil on rainy days when I've got a lot of time to waste just to get access. Don't give me any of that "quitter" bovine scatology, either. I'll retort with calling you epistemophobia controlled. It's been a pleasure, until the "powers that be" decided America only needs one voice, theirs. When I've got foodie pics, fairy dust, and unicorns, I'll be back if I'm bored. Love to all !
