Ever wonder why fuses are sold in multiple packs? Most keep changing it thinking it will cure the problem. Trust me, coming from an extensive background in electronics troubleshooting & repair, it won't. That's only the effect, not the cause. You've got to dig in with proper test equipment and techniques to hunt down the faulty part. After you replace it, some insert a new fuse and try it. Others verify by resistance readings first. If you couldn't care less and just want to satisfy your curiosity before you throw it out, get your fire extinguisher handy and replace the fuse with a nail, and follow the smoke. Starting to notice a parallel to what's going on in our nation today? I do. What's NOT so obvious is the lack of value people are placing on what was created for us by our founders and forefathers. They think they've got a better mousetrap. A more updated definition. Better "science". They're "smarter" because others agree with them. These days, I'm almost constantly attempting to "noodle" where we made a wrong turn. Returning to my rural roots in "retirement", my biggest conundrum is trying to figure out the cause instead of dealing with the effects. Rural folks are a want to fix things, not break things. We're constantly thinking "out of the box" to try and see things from every perspective, and seek the smartest person in that specialty to help us fix it. No, you don't call a farmer with an animal husbandry problem. No, you don't call a carpenter with a welding situation. Above all, stay away from a cesspool specialist when your roof starts leaking. I'm not a genius, but I know today's problems are societal in nature. In certain cases, they're also criminal, like fighting for their "rights" to sexually corrupt YOUR children. To ME, that's the perfect time to substitute the fuse with a nail. Those who stood by and watched it happen deserve the choice to put the fire out or burn it down. They'll probably just let it burn, waiting for somebody else to fix the problem. No, they're not apathetic lemmings anymore. They're full blown cowards intimidated by an oppressive government. They deserve their fate.
