Shaded (sometimes shady) siblings...nina to the left and ripley to the right. Ripley is name for the believe it or not schtick. Believe It or not I drove 15.5 hours one way to repossess him from a woman that drove us nuts wanting him since he was 2 days old. She paid a deposit and swore he'd be safe for life. When he left here at 7 weeks old he was crate trained, puppy pad trained and working on making it outside with his baby boy bladder. When i picked him up 2 weeks later his little mind was broken. We have no idea what that crazy b*tch (you'll have to excuse me. My 4 legged kids mean a lot to me) did to him. We just know it wasn't good. We kept him home for a couple of weeks and then gave him to a very sweet young couple that we knew we could trust. Unfortunately he had separation anxiety so bad that he would be in a bad way when they got home from work, so here he is. Back with us. He's a big boy. A cocker spaniel fluke if you will. He has a nose that is unbelievable and would make a heck of a scent hound if i were able to train him. He's much better mentally. Smart as a whip. If i could get him to a LEO that would train with kindness I'd let him go. Or a safe home that knows that some need a softer hand at times. We've had to move from a big house on 4 acres to a house half the size with a small yard, in town. We are making it work and everyone is spayed and neutered bc i will never go through that again. We allowed that life to be created and we are responsible for it until the end. Many have asked why i jumped up and went to get him.... and that's why. I thought he was safe the first time. There was no way i was going to trust her to place him. To wind up a story that went longer than planned.... that's 2 of the herd. Most of them came to me with a sad story to tell, and I'm a sucker for a sad story.
