FINALLY! SUPREME VICTORY! I’ve been busy this weekend due to a chance fluke. A couple of years ago a windows update messed up my Asus 2-in-1 Transformer PC. I lost touchscreen control, the use of the micro SD slot, audio and Bluetooth. It could still work as a netbook but not being able to use it as a tablet reduced it’s versatility. Tried to fix it back then with no luck. Factory resetting and asking both MS and Asus online support yielded no results. I kept it around in case I figured out how to restore it and thankfully that feat came in the form of a YouTube video from a user who figured out it needed a complete reinstall of the Intel driver suite of the processor when the PC was Windows 8.1 (I upgraded my OS to Win 10). He even provided a link for the drivers since MS and Asus were of little help.I had to reinstall the Realtek speaker manager but my 2-in-1 is back in action! I’ve added a 256 GB micro SD card and am now trying to reconfigure back to its former glory. 😁
