The 2018 Nation State Law enshrines “Jewish settlement as a national value” to expand the government’s occupation of Palestinian territories and “aims to place Jewish collective rights above individual rights and freedoms.” Already 10% of the Israeli population, about 650-700,000 Jewish settlers, live on Palestinian land in Occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. That’s why both B’Tselem the Israeli human rights organization, and Human Rights Watch have recently joined the world in calling Israeli systematic oppression of Palestinians by it’s proper name: apartheid.Demand a serious Congressional investigation of the role of U.S. arms and funding in the violent Israeli repression and displacement of Palestinians in Occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank, along with the long-standing siege and bombing of Gaza.The time has come to end U.S. sponsorship of apartheid, occupation, and dispossession in Palestine.
