Born as Ōkōchi Momoko (大河内 桃子) in Tokyo's Taitō ward on this day in 1932, Japanese actress Kōchi Momoko (河内 桃子, 7 March 1932 – 5 November 1998) who was best known for her roles in the original "Godzilla" (1954), playing the character of Emiko Yamane (later reprising the role in "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah" in 1995 for the last time), and in "The Mysterians" (1957), playing Hiroko Iwamoto.She is shown here on the set of the original "Godzilla", a 1954 Japanese kaiju/giant monster film directed by Honda Ishirō, with special effects by Tsuburaya Eiji.
