You cannot pray away the armies of Satan just like you cannot pray away the weeds in your garden. You pray so that God will give you the courage and the strength to rise in the day and meet the needs of your calling. So that when the time comes to fight your armor is strong and your sword is sharp. Christian nihilism is the same as any other nihilism, it's a sin.
