You know that situation when somebody asks you if the milk's gone bad or not by handing it to you with the prompt to take a sniff? I always refuse with my automatic answer "When in doubt, throw it out". I guess it's due to my old age, or possibly a secreted masochist inside me, but alas, I did watch Joe's debacle speech yesterday. Let's just sum it all up by my reaction to my son's comment "Remember Baghdad Bob"? Yes, I fell on the floor and almost pulled a Biden/Vatican scenario. 'Nuff said about THAT. A friend e-mailed me about yesterday's post, pointing out how difficult it was to navigate Wimkin and that's why the over 7,130 followers of this page "over there" didn't follow to this platform. My first response was "If your life depended on it, I bet you'd figure it out". Then it dawned on me. That's exactly the same situation we're facing in our nation today! Familiarity is the new comfort. It took quite awhile to learn that platform, too. Then, with their underhanded bovine scatology, it turned into an abusive relationship, and zuck's the pimp. Yes, it took me awhile, because I wanted to be a constant pain in their rump, and this page was never restricted in any way, shape, or form. Their A.I. simply throttled it down to a dwindling audience despite growing numbers. Yes, I miss a lot of folks who I've gotten to know after almost five years, but I'm confident they can find a younger person who'll get them up and running here. Yes, I'm still learning, too, and know Jason won't stop constantly improving this platform. The biggest achievement by changing is to my psyche. I don't feel like a two year old here, and I can say what I please without worrying about appeasing "The Zuckerberg". I always wondered why abused people stayed with their abusers, and might better understand now. I do miss people my age that are retired. I do miss talking to friends. I do miss touching base with social media friends that are shut-ins. Yes, I told them for months how to get here, and some have. The rest simply don't understand, and get restrictions, jail, and other abuses while their information is being gleaned and sold to fill the coffers that support socialism. Doubt me? Copy/paste this and share it over there. You'll be zucked faster than you can believe, possibly banned for life. There simply comes a time when enough is enough, and I personally hate the taste of bile. I've GOT a hammer in my shop, and can beat myself in the head at will should I miss the abuse that bad. Don't see it, though. JS.
