KAREN SIGHTINGUgh... Funny (not so funny?) story today... So I ran down to the dispensary to grab some green, and I took my dog with me as usual. While we're inside waiting for my order, this lady (another customer) is visibly recoiling from my dog from clear across the room, acting as if he's gonna break free of the harness and rip her to pieces. My dog was doing nothing, just standing there calmly, waiting with me. The dispensaries around here encourage ppl to bring their pets in, and I've been bringing him to all of them for many months. Everyone that works there knows and loves him. He's never been a problem at all, and he's one of those dogs whose body language is always super chill. So anyways, I was keeping him away from her, and tons of the staff were coming up and loving on him and giving him treats and stuff. (duh, that's why he loves going, lol) And this lady still continues to make a big scene while my dog is showing how aggressively he can lick people's faces as they're giving him kisses... I mean, I know he's a big dog, about 120#, and I know some people are scared of dogs, maybe been attacked before or something, but he wears a full control harness when I take him places, because of the fact that he's so big and strong. And I keep him close at my side whenever we're at places like that. I am a responsible dog owner. I glanced up at her again, then I see the second sign of her being a Karen... Double face mask. (They don't require face masks) 🙄 Anyway, she finishes up her transaction and heads out the exit door shortly before me, and when I get out in the parking lot, I saw the 3rd sign, confirming beyond any doubt that I had in fact just had an encounter with a Karen in the wild... A coexist sticker right next to a Biden/Harris sticker on the bumper of her brand new $65,000 Denali. I just don't understand these people. I mean what must it feel like to be that damn scared of literally EVERYTHING. Maybe she's one of those new varieties that wants dogs to be vaccinated. 🙄😂Idk, would you be scared of this dog?
