Many years ago, I listened to a motivational speaker. He spoke on two main themes, Christianity and children. I questioned his thesis on the children. He claimed that "they" wanted the children.The "they" was the government. If parents allowed the schools to become a greater influence on the children than families, society would forever be altered. Why would government want the children? Simple control! The government will gather more power every year and if compliance is engrained from an early age no one will question the actions.Sadly, the speaker has been proven correct. We as a people stand near the edge, many of the lemmings have already gone over. The good news is that "we" are still standing, we can grab a couple of the lemmings by the scruff of the neck and slow them down. We can retake the soapboxes! Stand up, speak up and prepare!
