CITIBANK ACCOUNT OWNER WARNING/ALERTIf you receive what appears to be an email from citibank claiming your account is in danger of being suspended and you need to click an "UPDATE ACCOUNT" button, DO NOT DO SO AS IT IS A SCAM DESIGNED TO GET YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD. Even though it appears to originate at citibank.com as shown in the first image of the actual email, when I right click on the phony UPDATE BUTTON and "copy link address" then paste that copy into the browser address window, the second image shows where this button leads you - a counterfeit citibank site where the scammer will have you put in your current account username and password. If you do, it will only be a matter of very short time before you suddenly find that your bank card no longer works because your accounts are empty with your monies safely deposited in Russia, Nigeria, Pakistan, or one of the many other countries where from the majority of these cretins operate.
