JS Asahi (DD-119) 🇯🇵CLASS : ASAHITheir acquisition began in 2013 in response to the reduction in the number of Hatsuyuki-class destroyers. Its two main features are its greatest specialization in anti-submarine warfare and the adoption of the COGLAG propulsion system (electric gas turbine and gas turbine).It is based on the Akizuki class to reduce the cost of acquisition and enable future development and growth.
