I don't like running the HVAC if I don't have to. Plus, there are places, such as the bathroom when planning to shower or my office at 5:30AM when I just rolled out of bed, that I want warmer than the rest of the house - at least for a period of time.So...I picked up 2 of these at Walmart for $6 each (which happens to be the lowest price I've seen by half). I've plugged a space heater into each of these "smart plugs" and then programmed an app on my phone to turn them on & off at the times and days of my choosing.They also have a physical button if you want to turn them on/off outside the programmed times. So far they've worked great. The maker is "Enbrighten" and I found them near the power strips.
