Ahhh yes! The silence after a fresh snowfall, it is almost magical....living where we do we don't get snow very often. We do get still, quiet nights, you can hear the lonesome train whistle (the tracks are over 5 miles away). The stillness allows you think and remember. As the "older" generation, we need to be sure that future generations have a strong foundation not a pile of sand. Speak out, don't be afraid, don't be silenced! You have experience which seems to be sorely lacking (and sorely needed) today! Speak. Plan and prepare!
