Front and CentreDear David,There must be something in the Canberra water.Despite one of the toughest years on record for many of you – lockdowns, job losses and the destruction of businesses – our politicians just can’t stop talking about climate change. How out of touch can this lot be?Not to be outdone by Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s pie-in-the-sky ‘net zero’ by 2050 capitulation, last weekend Anthony Albanese doubled down on his own emissions hysteria. At the same time Albanese is promising to “create jobs, cut power bills and reduce emissions by boosting renewable energy”.Does he really think you’ll believe a magic trick like that is possible? Not only will he conjure 600,000 jobs from thin air, he’ll sink billions into renewable energy, which can’t provide baseload power, and he’ll cut power bills by $275.Albo, please. No-one – absolutely no-one – believes you. You’ll force the country into sketchy, unreliable energy, and power bills will go up.Higher power bills are the inevitable consequence of renewable energy. It’s happened everywhere in the world. The only reliable baseload power is generated from coal, gas and nuclear. And you know what Labor and the Greens think about that – ban them all.Of course, Albo’s climate nonsense has won applause from the usual supporting cast of elites, including the Business Council of Australia, the Australian Industry Group, the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the ACTU.Never mind the fact that climate hysteria has been roundly rejected by Australians at every federal election for more than a decade. All these lobby groups know renewable energy only makes sense if you’re a woke corporate trying to rip taxpayer dollars out of government coffers in the form of grants and concessions.Did you catch Jacinta Price and the ADVANCE Truth Truck in Brisbane for the start of the Ashes? With your support we called out Cricket Australia’s appalling decision to let your national team ‘take a knee’ for Marxist organisation Black Lives Matter. On Wednesday, they had a ‘barefoot circle’ – early in the day, before a crowd was there to boo them, of course.Disgracefully, they even made the children’s choir ‘take a knee’.It’s only because of the pressure we put on Cricket Australia with your support that the entire Australian test team wasn’t out there grovelling on their knees.Check out Jacinta’s video from the Gabba.Grateful for you,Matthew SheahanExecutive DirectorADVANCEP.S. Still in Queensland, your support to UNLOCK AUSTRALIA has resulted in the government there deciding to open its borders early. The ADVANCE team made 2,459 phone calls to our Queensland supporters to encourage them to get in touch with their local Labor MPs. As a result, hundreds of Advance supporters piled the pressure on which helped to end the cruel and unnecessary lockdowns. UNLOCK AUSTRALIA: THEY’RE HEARING YOU LOUD AND CLEARYour voice is having a serious impact and all ADVANCE members should be proud! TONY ABBOTT: ‘WE NEED NUCLEAR SUBS NOW’ THE WORLD IS ENTERING A ‘GRAND SOLAR MINIMUM’ THAT WILL COOL THE PLANET UNTIL THE 2050S GREENS CANDIDATE WHO RAN AGAINST SCOMO PAID $120K FOR CHILD ABUSE MATERIAL OVER 10 YEARS AUSTRALIAN CRICKET TEAM BUCKLES IN SOLIDARITY WITH BLACK LIVES MATTER ALBO PROMISES TO PULL 600,000 JOBS FROM “RENEWABLE ENERGY” THIN AIR About ADVANCEADVANCE is an independent movement that puts your voice out front and centre, and speaks up for what the majority of Australians want. That is to live in a free, safe and prosperous society. And that means restoring the balance by removing the far-left’s control, so our nation’s centred once more on the founding freedoms of its mainstream values.ContactAdvance AustraliaLevel 9 Nishi Building2 Phillip Law StreetNew Acton ACT 2601Tel: +61 2 5133 5548Email: info@advanceaustralia.org.au JP on Facebook JP on Twitter Authorised by Matthew Sheahan, Advance AustraliaLevel 9, 2 Phillip Law Street, New Acton ACT 2601This email was sent to david_lipari@hotmail.com.To stop receiving emails, click here.
