No. No. Nope. They ain't gonna get me. No matter how hard they try, they won't get me. At my age, I even know the free candy lure ! Nope. Nice try. It seems that everywhere I go now, there's a rabbit hole waiting. When I research things, pop-ups and ads intersperse with the results. Any MSM is replete with so much scatology it's beginning to not even serve as decent background noise. When I watch my oldies, the Medicare commercials inundate me. After the enrollment period, it'll be political ads in the run-up to the mid-terms. "Journalists" are now in competition for "entertainer of the year" instead of promulgating news. Of course people are going "mental" right now! Negativity is the least desirable state to get caught up in! No wonder there's so many drug and alcohol related problems! For the past 4&1/2 years, I've spoke on about everything, including this topic. Now, things are unfolding exactly as I predicted, I'm sorry to say. I wasn't trying to speak it into existence, I was trying to forewarn people. It's simple. If they can make everybody miserable, they can then sell you their "cure", a.k.a. their "balm" called socialism. No, we can't ignore everything going on. We've got to ration ourselves, though. Everybody needs to know their "number" of confrontations with THEIR scatology before our bell rings, signaling the end of exposure until we can unwind and decompress again before more exposure can be safely attempted or we'll become what they want. We've got to establish better coping mechanisms because they're heaping their piles higher than ever before, and digging deeper holes for us to fall in. Yes, society IS coming around, albeit slowly. It's like we're in a race, and we've got to pace ourselves. The first thing to understand right now is that there's absolutely no place to go that only presents facts in an untarnished way and lets you decide. Not for free, anyway. It's totally up to us to balance the input we receive. There's THREE sides to everything. The third is the TRUTH, which is the hardest to discern. Discernment is a gift from God, however, which could explain the attempts to eradicate Him from our nation. Considering that's the keystone of our foundations, that is absolutely the most foolish pursuit. To succumb to their pit of misery is only the beginning. Once you're stuck there, it's like crabs in a bucket. They'll constantly keep pulling you back down when you try to escape. Our main saving grace are our trusted friends and our voices. Should we find ourselves in the proverbial bucket, we can reach out to our friends who can give us a hand out! Until now, we've all avoided contact with anyone when we get down. That's got to change. Many hands make light work, and there's safety in numbers. No one person can solve the situations ahead. United, we're unstoppable. No, not everybody will be on board, but we can learn from THEIR tactics. The more, the merrier ! Ever see the Amish move a barn? They get enough people, pick it up, and walk it. It's a life lesson we all need to reacquaint ourselves with. If we stay committed to our beliefs and work together, this is quite doable. If we're faint of heart, it's for naught. Personally, I HATE the thought of being on the losing side of an over 240 year world example. You?
