Christ and the deciples were walking down the road one day and upon seeing a fig tree and beinh hungry hurried over to it. When they arrived they found the had no fruit for them to eat. Christ then spoke words quietly that the deciples could not hear and then the group moved on.The next day coming back down the road the other way they once again came across the same tree, but now the was withered and appeared to be dying. The deciples asked Christ what had happened to the tree and christ told them that the words he hadd spoken had not just on the physical realm but also had reached the spiitual realm so that the tree had withered from the roots.He then proceeded to tell them that they could also do this with their prayers by praying not for something to happen, but by praying as if that thing had already happened.
