Growing up I was the youngest child. My brother was a bookworm, brilliant mind in his field, however common sense and a deeply caring heart were not his gifts. My sister was also a studious child, she worked for her grades but she was also given common sense and a deeply caring heart. Then there was me, I was a sickly child who didn't really work for grades. More than anything I wanted to do stuff! I am the one that explored the woods behind the house, went skiing every week, rode horses and worked at a stable. When I went off to college, I joined a sorority, I tried to be "magazine" feminine. Oops, along the way I learned to accept who I am. I love being a woman, but have sort of learned how men think. We woman normally see an issue from several sides, for me, there are few things that are simply black and white. My experience shows men tend to see issues as black and white only. Wouldn't this be a dull world if we all fit a single mold! Don't allow the current climate force you into that mold. It is past time to speak out! Speak and prepare!
