When I was growing up my Dad had several rifles. They were stored in the back of his closet. My Mom didn't like them, instilling a sense of fear and dread in her children with regard to all guns. As an adult I learned how to SAFELY handle a gun and accurately hit a target. I still didn't like them but I was no longer filled with fear. I still firmly believed I would never fire one in defense of myself or others. One night while home alone with our two dogs I had to make the "decision". Was I prepared to injure or kill another human in defense of myself and our unborn child? For me, at that point in time, the answer was yes. No, I did not have to shoot the intruder that night but the "decision" had been made. Due to my decision I knew my capability, strength and limits. I know that I will defend myself and my loved ones, we matter, we are important! Each of us must be willing to face our " enough " moment. I ask that you speak up for your God given rights and freedoms. I pray that it doesn't come to the "decision" moment for you!
