Was their life easier and less complicated than your life? It was certainly different! Each family has faced change and upheavals regardless of the year. These girls lost their Mother, their Father remarried, and left. An older daughter took in the youngest to raise. The sisters helped the youngest become an RN. Three of the daughter's raised families of their own. None of the descendants have become household names BUT we have learned to face life.
