THE 16TH AMENDMENT, INCOME TAXThe laws on taxation were not in the original constitution when the congress added an eighth article giving the federal government the right to tax the states for national defense and government debt they did this solely on their own.The income tax law was not even proposed until 1884 and was turned down.The bill that gives congress the power to tax the people on their earnings was not signed into law until 1903.Now the constitution requires three-quarters of the states to ratify any change ti the constitution. However this amendment was ratified by three oout of 45 states, at wich time the (congerss) signed an amment that gave (congress) the power to levy an income tax on the people. Now i can't find find any information on when article 8 was added or enen when it was proposed or why itvwas added. The point is that (congress) illegally ratified an amendment giving (congress) an illegal power to tax every citizen of the county.
