I believe each of us have a story! In middle school I took French, after a semester of it the teacher told my parents I had no "ear" for any language, I dropped the course. In high school I avoided foreign language like the plague, after all I had no "ear". Ended up taking German. My first high school taught High German, we moved and I ended up with Low German, we again moved and who knows what German I was taught. Fast forward, I lived in New Mexico and attempted to learn Spanish by taking a night course at the University. I wasn't very successful. Years later our ranch foreman spoke very little English. I tried, Pablo tried, I can understand portions of a conversation and speak rudimentary phrases. Pablo would laugh but appreciated my efforts to communicate in his language. My point is, very few of us are successful at everything! Go ahead and try! Keep learning each and every day! Regardless of what others say each of us have gifts that must be shared! Our voices need to be strong!

Very true. We need to try and continue trying to share our unique gifts we have been given.
