Say you are out at a bonfire. Every one is just standing around or mabey sitting on a log. The music is playing so you go out and start dancing. At first people are going to look at you as if you are crazy. Then after a bit, someone else starts dancing too, then another and another. After a while you have a whole group dancing.Most things work the same way. people see that you are telling people to vote and get invited in the local politics. They look at you like you are crazy, just like dancing alone.That is how people are.They need to see that one person. That one leader. However the most important person is the second one to start dancing. The first one is just a crazy person dancing alone.
