What will a MAN do to take care of his family? I have been blessed with a good father and good husband! In the early 70s my father was part of upper management at a RV manufacturer that went bankrupt. After 25 years in suits and offices he donned a pair of coveralls and a hard hat in order to make sure money continued to come in. We sold the big house, moved into an apartment and clipped coupons. In the 90s my husband and I had sold our business. We were supposed to receive monthly payments, the 3 of us were cruising on our sailboat. The payments became intermittent, winter was fast approaching, my husband took a night job sumping the bilge water from tow boats. In both cases, they took jobs that many would have considered to be beneath them, BUT they earned honest dollars that provided shelter, food and utilities. What did I do? I pitched in with skills I had, in high school I cleaned houses, in the 90s I cleaned houseboats and sewed coverings. What does the future hold? I don't know but I am preparing!
