The problem is that they are bound by The Constitution, and we are not. That"s why they wrote things to protect themselves from us. Also, the police and army thinks that the oath means they have to obey the government, when in fact, there is nothing in The Constitution that says they have to obey a corrupt govt. Plus, if you keep the police and military under paid, it makes it easier to control them and turn them against their own people. Think about it. How many communist countries were there that the police and their military were paid a good wages before being overthrown? Marbury vs Madison simply says that the govt is supposed to repeal any laws that are repugnant to The Constitution, but they don"t. Why don"t they? Because those "laws" protect them.
