I can't figure out who to get mad at first. Those who anger me with their stupidity when they say things I personally know aren't true, or myself for letting them. They seem to revel in their interference with other people's lives, and that gives them some kind of impetus to continue the practice. I was sitting here today thinking about something, and my mind threw up a flag that usually warns me I might need a checkup from the neck up because I'm not normally a cynical person. I'm always conscious of senility, crotchety, and cynical behaviour, but try my best to keep it to myself should I feel it encroaching. Still, the hackles on my neck wouldn't go away. Since the topic is too serious to ignore, and not one the talking heads are talking about, I'm going to share something that's running through my head and let y'all decide for yourselves. I've talked around it many times, but if my supposition is correct, we need to set off the warning sirens until everybody hears. Yeah, it's that serious. I haven't confirmed this, I've just got a feeling. It all really started when Carter established the Dept. Of Education. Once the government got involved in our children's education, they found a way to buy their way into a serious power over ALL things education. The curriculums were changed, and indoctrination began in earnest. Since the process is too slow, they've started every type of pre-K and head start programs to get your children earlier and earlier. That's when my self test alarm sets off. Am I just being another old cynical fool, or do they want total control of our children? Now, they're pushing for government daycare and childcare. Make no mistake about it. If it's funded by the government, they and they alone will control the details. All of them. Two things the government can't do are have children and make money. With digital currency on the horizon, we're left with the former. Since they're testing the medical waters with edicts and mandates, what's to stop a childcare center from filing paperwork because they feel you have a transgender child and start medicinal protocols without your knowledge? Cradle to grave now? No wonder they just want to start calling you "birthing" people instead of Mom and Dad ! I don't give a rip what you think about medicinal procedures or treatments as long as you don't give a rip about mine. That's the crux here. It's about FREEDOM. Freedom of choice. Freedom to raise our children the way WE want, not how a "village" wants. As long as the parents are responsible for their children, ANY decision is up to those parents. When the Government usurps their Constitutionally defined powers for "the good of all", trust me, it isn't. People that aren't seeing this for what it is need a story. A man was sitting down on a toilet doing his business. When he stood up, a dime fell out of his pocket into the toilet. He cussed, and another guy in the next stall asked him why. He told him, ending with he didn't know if it was worth retrieving. The guy in the next stall said "that's easy, just throw a quarter after it. Now it's worth retrieving!". In short, in for a penny, in for a pound. Once the Constitutional law is broached, here comes the tidal waves of challenges, demands, mob rules, activist judicial decisions, and the end of our Republic as we know it, IMHO. Senility? Cynicism? Curmudgeonly? You tell me. I'm conflicted !
