I saw this photo today and had a flashback. It reminded me of Blue, one of the bulls on our ranch, named after Paul Bunyon's ox. The first time I saw him was one early morning coming out of the fog, honestly he was the biggest bull I had ever seen, and yes he was blue! The ranch was deeded property located in the middle of a national forest, it was all open range. Blue was emblematic, he did his thing, ran his life and existed on his own. He was not dependent on feed from us...kind of how our country used to be....
