Continuing with this Salute To Baseball, the song most commonly connected with the Sport is Take Me Out To The Ballgame. I will! But there is an interesting history behind that song. For instance, the guy who wrote it had never seen a Major League Baseball game- and didn't for another 33 years! It's Folk, Rock & Comedy this time Out...or am I Safe, lol? With nostalgia about choosing up sides for a game, the tenuous careers of prospects, and the dirtiest team in Baseball (if not for how they played the Game, certainly laundry-wise).
