Christine McThoren, a mother of a high school student, outlined a concern shared by at least a few other parents at a school board meeting last week, waving around printed copies of “Gender Queer: A Memoir,” an acclaimed comic from nonbinary, queer author Maia Kobabe. McThoren labeled that particular book, among others, as “highly disturbing” content for kidsFirst of all, that book is bs because"queer" is definitely NOT a gender, its a fricken MENTAL ILLNESS!
