It doesn't matter which side you're on in this platforms debacle. Whether it was a real whistleblower or a plant intended to cause censorship. The real point to be made here is something I said over three years ago on this page. The TRUE problems have been caused by the PARENTS, not the children. The parents have become the enablers of the "precious little children" in order to try and win their hearts and minds. How many times have you seen parents/grandparents giving toddlers their phones to play with as a "babysitter"? How many buy them video games to play? Even the ones rated MA ! Yes, I've spoken to all of this, and it really wasn't pleasant dealing with the comments last time. I still stand my ground. Facts are facts. Children cannot sign contracts with phone companies, or internet carriers. That's provided by parents. Period. When my son was growing up, he grew up without a cellphone or the internet unless my wife or I were right there monitoring. No amount of bad behaviour would make a difference, and peer pressure wasn't an issue because he was home schooled. Call it what you will, but it worked. Plain and simple.
The lack of parental discipline, coddling, and condescension on their behalf has resulted in this, the latest excuse to censor everyone for the "betterment of others". Yeah, that's claptrap for the end of the rights to free speech controlled by the Federal Government. Usurping our God-given rights abrogates our contract with the government, plain and simple. Those rights are not given to us by the Government at all. The entire Bill of Rights informs the government of our unalienable rights, and they're not given permission to remove them. Activist judges think they can, but the fact remains. They can't, and they won't. There's a new culture out there now called counter culture, and it's sworn enemy is cancel culture. It's getting louder, and prouder. You see, it's a proven fact that overcoming oppression only strengthens the conquerors. Rome never bothered to persevere long enough to learn what would've been their finest moment, but England did under Churchill. America has many times over, and will this time, too. It just takes us too long usually to see the forest instead of the trees. We always have, though. We're not Rome.
Yes, we've had fires in our forest. We've had blights. We've had droughts, flooding, diseases, and pestilence, but new trees replace what's been lost. This forest will survive because it's been planted in fertile ground provided by our forefathers. We're a weird lot, with our infighting and arguing, but we know it's gone too far when tyrants demand and mandate compliance with their unconstitutional edicts and prabble. Compliance and enforcement are the situation they face. We're not good at that, and don't appear ready to accept it now. People are sick of this bovine excrement already, and just beginning to do what needs to be done. It's time for the tough love. Time to stand up to the little AND big tyrants. Time to prove we love this land we've all strived to improve. Time to take back our children from the overreaching government. Time to rid ourselves of corrupt politicians and activist judges defying the SCOTUS. Time to end the scourge of socialism, marxism, or communism in any form it takes. Time to stop empowering them by our silence. Time to kick some butt ! The American way ! UNITED WE STAND !
Start by disciplining the children. Then, progress to the politicians. Then, our government. We've invested too much blood, sweat, and tears to quit now. We've done it before, and we'll do it again.
