"IF" I HAD A TRUCK LOAD OF MONEYI would buy a large (meaning a lot) of acreage in a remote area in one of the four most Conservative states.I would build a village of earth sheltered homes. I would invite family and close friends who think like me to live there.It would be a community that would be as self sufficient as possible. We would live our lives as our forefathers lived. We would raise and grow our own food. We would teach one another skills and trades that have almost become extinct due to modern technology. No, its not about wanting to run away. It's all about a desire to go back to a much simpler lifestyle.Back in the 60's and 70's I thought the Hippies and their communes were a strange lot. But, now that I'm almost 62 I'm starting to understand. Here it is, 2021 and the world has gone to Hell in a hand basket. Yea, give me the morals, values, and ethics of old. Give me a simpler life any day away from the madness that is considered normal these days.
