People love short videos and have been trained by YouTube to watch them all the time. Remember to always give your prospects context and an explanation of what they'll gain from watching the video that you send them. They need a solid reason to check out your video, not just a link and an email. Another great thing to throw out there is ROI analysis.
This is closely related to the idea of reinforcing the value of your product. If you can provide your prospects with an ROI projection, showing them how much they'll gain by using your product, you'll make their buying decision easier. Plus, you exhibit confidence and professionalism by sending them something that is customized to their business. Remember, if you're providing them with useful information, they feel like they owe you a favor, and they're going to be more willing to get back to you.
