Folks, these times are entirely different than we've encountered in recent history. There's a fundamental shift coming to our nation should these gargantuan spending bills be enacted. It's not just about the money, rather it's the included changes nobody's talking about. In the "bipartisan" infrastructure bill, only 10% goes for true infrastructure. Where does the rest go? If you don't know, I heartily recommend you search the information on the net yourself. While you're there, check out the other provisions, rules, and regulations not even our CONgresspeople know about. They haven't read it..... it's too long. The second? Lord, have mercy on our Republic. Remember the Senate Parliamentarian stopped them from including immigration reform in it? Only because it didn't pertain to spending/collecting money. The proposed taxes are withering, and considering everything else that's included, there's no way to earn enough to pay them without their permissions. Also remember this is Bernie Sanders' personal baby, an avowed socialist. It will most certainly sound the death knell to our freedoms. While they're running around touting all the wonderful things for seniors, free college, and paid childcare to distract you, they're planning so much more it would literally rock you to the core if you knew about it all. That's why I'm so worried for our nation. Too many don't/won't spend enough time searching out the truth for themselves. I don't know when/how our society became so complacent, but they have. Very few even know how many properties our current President owns, yet he's over $500,000.00 in arrears to the IRS. That's just HIM ! What about the rest of his cronies in CONgress? How about Pelosi? How about Schumer? Tammy Duckworth's tax problems? Ad Nauseam? Yeah, they're running around like Chicken Little espousing the end of life as we know it if they don't get their way, when in actuality it will happen if they DO get their way, including Federalizing elections, the PRO act which supports mandatory union participation, and funding outrageous pork projects. Just take a look at who's behind the big push! The Squad, and every other of the 91 "progressive democrats" in the House. Perilous times? Beyond description. With Big Tech and social media platforms on the hot seat, now's the time to remember what you say and to whom. Let the paper lions and keyboard warriors brag about what they've got and what they're going to do. Stay the course when contacting Senators and Representatives. This isn't the time to threaten anything except your vote. I've actually seen people sharing pictures of their weapons and ammunition ! Good thing my rusty old BB gun broke it's spring. I can let them carry that away. Yes, at my age, the pen indeed is mightier than the sword. What I'm up to otherwise is my business. Remember THEY know the expression "forewarned is forearmed", too. They have a plethora of A.I. bots they utilize like the military uses drones right now. Let them chase down the ones who think they can blow up D.C. with a propane tank in the bed of their truck. They might just hurt themselves, anyway. Yes, loose lips indeed sink ships. False bravado will sink yours if you're not careful. Texting, messaging, or any other electronic communications are at risk of interception. Face to face still works best, and masks defeat lip readers. Tin foil hatter? Me? Time will tell. Wouldn't prudence take precedence over stupidity? An ounce of prevention IS worth more than a pound of cure.
