The ten commandments were given to Moses on the mountain. They were givem as the laws that the hebrews were to live under. They weren't given as requests they were commands. Of the set of ten commands only one tells us what we should do. The other nine tells us what not to do. The fourth commandment tells us that we should remember the sabbath ant to keep it holy.HAVE A BLESSED SABBATH.
