The toucans name comes from the Tupi language in Brazil. Most believe that their word, tuka, is an imitation of its call. Therr are about 35 birds in the toucan family, which includes aracaris and toucanets. I've managed to finish my Guianan toucanet, choco toucan and curled crowned aracari. Cute, right?
