Yes, I've spoken to this before, but feel I need to explain it in a simpler version. I've said that the minimum wage doubling was going to cost us more. Now, with the debt ceiling needing to be raised AGAIN, the effects are going to put us on the fast track to complete insolvency. Most people don't see or understand how it happens, so let's simplify it for them. With things heading the way they currently are, the consumer price index is rising at an alarming rate. This causes inflation, which is checked by raising the interest rates by the Federal Reserve. When that happens, the interest paid on loans taken by the government increases. The increased costs of the debt service curtail discretionary spending. To counteract that, taxes will have to be raised once again because we don't have a balanced budget requirement. As you can see, this is not sustainable, and was the downfall of many democracies in the past. Without discretionary spending, we'll fail to be able to fund a functional military to protect our nation, amongst other problems. It's really all pretty simple. Now, picture the debt service on $30 TRILLION ! To allow these Megalomaniacal politicians to constantly spend money they don't have and expect us to pay it all back is actually forcing every one of us into involuntary servitude ! They have no concept of living within their means, personally or collectively on our behalf. Now, the White House is threatening to cut spending on things like Social Security and Veterans benefits/pensions if the debt ceiling isn't raised. Yet, the lawsuits and cutbacks for the red states and not the blue continues unabated, including availability of monoclonal antibodies. CONgress took their vacays knowing what was coming, but ignored their Constitutional duties as a strongarm tactic to get everything passed they wanted because now they can play Chicken Little with We The People. They figure they can gin up the divisions by playing us against each other. It's a long term ploy they used against Trump, now they intend to use it against US to get everything they want at a price they can't even comprehend. With the Infrastructure Bill, and the $3.5 TRILLION social Infrastructure bill packed with everything NOT budget related, the CBO has reported the actual costs to be between $8-10 TRILLION over ten years, not including interest. The rest of the horse excrement included like Federalizing elections, the PRO act, etc. is all in there. It all looks like it's coming down to party lines, with only two exceptions, Joe Manchin and Kyrtsen Sinema. We need to pray for their safety ! We need to collectively berate CONgress, and inform them that their fiduciary obligations to seniors and Veterans is a non-negotiable binding contract. The FIRST spending cuts should be THEIR salaries and benefits, with the promise they won't be paid retroactively. How do we enforce it? Remember history? Tax revolution. It's the only way. It wouldn't take very long, just weeks, for their gears to completely stop. The only way to restart them is if they pass a balanced budget agreement, with forebearance of any penalties incurred for this action. We acted as one against less tyranny than this in our past, and it seems like it's time for history to repeat itself. These imbecilic morons are totally out of control. Unchecked, they're taking us down the primrose path to financial destruction. We simply cannot allow this to continue ! WE learned how to live within our means, now it's time to teach THEM the lesson ! IMMEDIATELY !
