Lessons are passed from one generation to the next. Some seem to have forgotten how basic values can knit a country together. In the generations that raised children to be seen and not heard it allowed adults to talk with one another without the "children" being the center of all attention. Must sound very harsh to today's kids, but it worked for many generations. Children were important, but adults recognized that they were children, not small adults. They needed to be taught, not allowed to run wild! It is time for adults to again take control and say NO to the brats that we have allowed to get the bully pulpit!
