Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.THIS is what we need to use to START claiming our rights from a tyrannical bunch of overlords. Neither Dems or Repubs are happy with the plethora of garbage CONgress heaps on our heads. By decentralizing the powers of government, we eliminate oppressive actions like armed troops behind concertina wire restricting access to OUR government. By bringing the power back to the States, we can more closely monitor them and redress our concerns. As it stands right now, we couldn't even get to talk with the most junior staffer at the White House, Pelosi's office, or Schumer. It shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who works for whom in this scenario. On the State level, qualifications and track records can be more closely monitored. Our State legislators are known to us, or we know people in their district that know them. Governors are term limited, and can be recalled if necessary. Your Governor's doing things against his promises? Against the will of the people in HIS/HER own state by colluding with outsiders? RECALL ! Yes, you can. Look at California, though so many voters that got sick of the shenanigans to get it accomplished to this point have/are going to be out of state by the election. Then again, thank God they have that right and everything's NOT federalized YET. When the States take the power back, they control their own destiny. Essentially, they're going to be in competition with all other states. The best state to live in will attract the largest population, and the worst will be essentially emptied. That alone would force state governments to listen to the people instead of feeding at the trough of the pork barrel politicians in that Cesspool we call a Capitol. It's a simple thing to demand on a State level outlawing outside campaign contributions. If the people of North Carolina knew how much money Cooper took from California, New York, and the DNC, they'd understand. We need to also put caps on campaign budgets. Both sides have a limit on expenditures, and they're equal. We should pass a law on attack ads, too, and make them stand on their own visions. We need to get serious about this, political party irrespective before we wake up under communist rule. From either side. NOBODY wants/needs THAT !
