Have you ever had a .50 caliber pointed at your home? Have men armed with AR-15s and side arms ever invaded your home with no warrant? I pray your answer is NO! After all, this only happens in 3rd world countries right ? Folks, I WISH I could tell you this is just another sad foreign story but it isn't. This occurred about 13 years ago on a warm summer afternoon in North Carolina. Huh, how can that be, you ask. Well, the home was a lovely Coast Guard documented vessel transiting the Intercoastal Waterway. The action taken against us was legal according to the Patriot Act. We were boarded and had a cursory search in the name of Homeland Security and the War on Terror. What was the basis you may ask, well we were aboard a sailboat, traveling under power and, well, we might have a bomb or drugs or not have a fire extinguisher or something. I beg you, make your voices heard, the censorship that is occurring today didn't start 3 years ago, it has been building for several decades. Tired of it YET ?
