Lesson from Mark 7:1-23Today we wash our hands & wear face masks to prevent the spread of disease, but if our neighbor is sick or injured or otherwise needs help, we refuse to render such aid out of fear lest by touching him - or even being within six feet of him - we become contaminated. Do we think so little of God's power to protect us that we conflate hand washing, mask wearing and social distancing as kindness to neighbor when in fact we act like the goats on Jesus' left hand in Matthew 25:31-46 instead of the sheep on His right hand?
