I hope you have created great memories with your children! My Dad was a country boy, Mom was a city girl. She took us to museums, concerts, ballets. I remember when I was about 7 we toured the Quincy Historical Museum where we were shown the hood worn by Dr. Mudd during his execution. I also flash to a time I toured the pig barn at the State Fair with Dad. A huge boar got loose, Dad picked me up, throwing me in a empty hog pen, grabbed a cane and helped the farmer get the boar back where it belonged. Random memories that came to me on a hot summer afternoon. I doubt either of my Mom or Dad would be thrilled that I would share these memories but each of us have our own that need to be shared. Make sure you create some funny strange wonderous memories with your own kids. Share your values, history, traditions. We must teach the children truth. Do not allow teachers or society to dictate their future based on the latest trends!
