Through the years my views have grown more conservative. I grew up in the Vietnam era, where the nightly news was filled with reports and statistics that have since been shown to be fictional. I have seen our country through the first Gulf War, Grenada, Panama etc. I am sick of watching our country trying to "win the hearts and minds". Dang it, war should be a last resort but if we go then break things and "get rid" of the problem and get out! I can't expect younger people to understand, they have only seen the failure of diplomats to actually settle anything in this country's favor. The current crop of military "leaders" follow the lead of the diplomats and this country continues to pay the price. Stop accepting the status quo, demand accountability of all representatives, bureaucrats, and diplomats.
