For Such A Time As This... The Day I Met God.Here I am at 20 years old, recently Migrated to England as a student studying Business Management, broke and unable to afford my rent.I applied for several jobs and at last got accepted at Beales Hotel Ltd, Hertfordshire as seen in image.There were days when I felt so overwhelmed, but yet persevered. Despite having a salary, it was still difficult making ends meet. I use to be very happy when famous guest will arrive for example, Dwight Yorke, Stern John, Miguel from Chelsea's Football team who was always nice and polite and a lot more other footballers, because added tips were always a plus. I remember crying in the corridor one day thinking I can no longer continue am exhausted and maybe its best to give up, lifted my head and there was this very old man looking at me crying. He asked, if I was ok, and if I needed anything I answered yes. With a jolly voice he said to me I'll be right back, and strolled his way to his room. I was ecstatic thinking I was going to be gifted a really big tip, I was wrong he returned with a Bible and said, today is my wife Cynthia Blenham 70th Birthday, we are from St. Lucia, and I would like to give it to you. I respectfully accepted that Bible then he left, deep down in my heart I was so upset with God, thinking to myself I am in need and I got a Bible! I started reading after that day, I felt at peace I was comforted. The manager at that time Mr. David William nurtured me as his daughter and even gave me a place to stay. Thank you Mr. William, if this story ever reaches you 😇, I am forever grateful. We're currently in perilous times and some may feel like there's no God and He isn't giving you what you want, trust me He is right there with you and He will supply all you needs, He sees. By.
