The Democrat party is being destroyed from the inside out by progressive activists. They have lost control of their party and now they are just scrambling to keep the power that they currently have in their own district. They are doing this by nodding like bobble heads to everything that the progressives demand. They are terrified of that faction of the party turning against them. They have made it clear that they will turn on their own side if they do not tow the line.
