I may have figured it out! Have you ever noticed how a dog will wait for his master to come home? Maybe, just maybe, the "children" have been conditioned like Pavlov's dogs and are just waiting for the treat they believe they are due for their obedience. You and I know the treats are reduced as they become better trained but the "children" haven't been told! I will yell it from the treetops, there is no such thing as a "freebie"!
