ONCE UPON A TIME:Once upon a time I loved watching sports, football, hockey, baseball, the Olympics, and many others. That was back in the day when athletes played for the love of the game.FAST FORWARD:I could care less about sports now a days. Sadly, a handful of athletes (and the numbers are growing) feel the need to use their popularity to protest during a sporting event. It is unfortunate because there are many athletes that still play for the love of the game. But, it is always the few that ruin it for all. What is worse is the comissioners of these leagues are becoming "woke" and bringing politics into the game.Hey, it's your right to protest, but do it on your own time.I feel many are like me and have, or will tune out sports. I foresee revenue being lost due to wokeness. And if you don't care and continue to watch sports, that's your prerogative. But for me, I'm done.
